Sweet Local Site Spotting: Chi-Chi And The Greek

While scanning the web for the latest and greatest, a habit that is now synonymous with sleeping/eating (and often times interferes with both) I stumbled upon a fab online vintage retailer- from here!
Check out ChiChiAndTheGreek.com. The site, run by a husband and wife duo in the Detroit area - Kelly "Chi Chi" Johnson and her anonymous husband, "The Greek", has been up for a few months and according to Johnson, it's "doing very very well!"
While browsing the site, I scoped a few things I instantly fell in web-love with, like this darling 80's Gunne Sax strapless dress.
... and this two-piece beaded Carmen Marc Valvo dress and bolero jacket. Unique and fancy schmancy - a winner!
Check the vintage Versace graffiti shirt. It's a mens large, but who cares? Belt it up or let it flow with a slim bottom.
I also really dug this turquoise cherry blossom one-piece. I said it once and I'll say it again- if I could wear a one-piece everyday, I would! They make life sooo much easier.
Who doesn't need a mustard leather jumper? This is a rad statement piece, not for everyone, but still, very hip.
When asked about the quirkiness and eccentricity of her site, Johnson says, "Quirky? Eccentric? Those are my middle names! I have never aspired to look like anyone in any magazine. That's impossible and boring, frankly! I try to keep my site light hearted and funny, it's just clothing after all, there's no need for snobby-ish-ness...(not sure if that's an actual word, although it is in my world!)"
It's a word in our world, too!
