If you can't make it to downtown Birmingham Saturday, July 26, well, we feel for you. Why? Hella super steals - deals would be an understatement - from 9 am to 9 pm, that's why!

Okay just to be clear, this is THE sale of the season. Never been to 'Day on the Town'? Well, DOTT was originally called 'Night on the Town' or referred to as 'Midnight Madness' and has been going on for the last 25 years. The sales will center around the Maple and Old Woodward area and there will be free parking in all structures and all meters throughout the day.

“This is the one day of the year when the best of Birmingham goes on sale,” says John Heiney, executive director of the Downtown Birmingham Principal Shopping District. “The PSD and the merchants of Birmingham have teamed up to create this festive, active street sale with plenty of bargains, entertainment and great food. The stores even stay open until 9:00 p.m. and we have all kinds of entertainment planned during the entire 12-hour sale.”

Fab designer women's boutique Tender marking down all spring and summer merchandise to 75% off! (Yes, that means Miu Miu, Zac Posen, Derek Lam, etc.) Don’t believe us? You'll see the line of ladies with their coffees at the wee hours of Saturday morning wrapped right around Linda Dresner- another great spot to snag super deals.

See Eyewear is also having killer deals - $29 eye exams, $49 frames, $99 frames and lens, $29 sunglasses, $100 off two frames. You simply can’t beat those deals. Anthropologie will have apparel for $9.95, $19.95, and $29.95 all fresh new markdowns, as well as having home goods for as low as $2.95!

Trust us ladies, there will be plenty for those hubbies, boyfriends and kiddies to do - all while you shop till you drop. There will be a kids bike parade/ and judging of the most creative, most patriotic, most fashionable and wackiest bikes at 9:30 and Wigs4Kids Cut-A-Thon taking place at 10:30-12:30, where all of the hair is donated to make wigs for kids with cancer.

Following that the main stage is filled with daytime demos from dance to martial arts, followed with a variety of music that will last as the day turns into night. Speaking of music, rumor has it Carl Sterr (of famed Carl Sterr Men's Clothier) will be performing with his band from 6 - 9 p.m. Saturday night. (We're smiling while we type!)
