Yeah, she's all that. Still.

Yeah, she's all that. Still.

The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll at The Palace, Bruce Campbell in Royal Oak, Calexico and Campus Martius and more!

11/20 Tina Turner @ The Palace of Auburn Hills

Eight-time Grammy Award winner and Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Miss Tina Turner is set to rock The Palace Thursday night. Her pipes are still going strong and she's still got the gams of a goddess, so catching a performance by this legend in definitely a must-do. Click here for tickets!

11/20 Calexico @ The Crofoot Ballroom

In case you missed out on catching these guys at Cityfest, here is your chance to check 'em again. The mellow American/Spanish-fused instrumentals and smooth vocals will have you hooked for sure. They're playing with The Acorn. Click here for $13 tickets. Doors 8 pm.

11/21 - 11/23 'My Name Is Bruce' Movie Premiere WSG Bruce Campbell @ Main Art Theatre, Royal Oak

You already know and love Bruce Campbell, the Michigan-bred star of the Evil Dead trilogy, and now he starred in and directed a new horror-comedy flick that has been driving his fans wild at earlier releases. And bonus! Mr. Campbell will be at the theatre for a meet and greet type thing Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm and 10 pm. Get your cameras ready!

11/21 Holiday Tree Lighting @ Campus Martius park, Detroit

Gather 'round Detroit's Holiday Tree downtown on friday with all your closest friends to watch it get all lit up with seasonal cheer at 7:55 pm. I only appreciate the winter a few times a year and this is definitely one of those times, so I'll be bundled up for the beautiful lights in the city. $10 tickets, limited seats.

11/26 Family Reunion @ The Shelter

Turkey day means quality time with the fam and what better way to reunite with your cousins than at The Shelter for what's going to be a super live party. As the official Detroit release for Illa J's "Yancey Boys" LP, with performances by Chief and Danny Brown plus all your favorites on the decks including DJ Houseshoes, DJ Haircut (you may recall our slight obsession with him), and DJ Dez, you're pretty much guaranteed a hangover for Thanksgiving Day. Cheers! $7 cover.
